Kohler Realty Advisors has extensive experience in the valuation of numerous property types, including vacant land and single/multi‑tenant retail, industrial, and office properties but focuses on the going concern valuations of gas station/c‑store and car wash properties, which involve the complex analysis of the real estate, equipment, and intangible assets/business valuation.  Over the past 20 years, Chris Kohler has completed appraisals on over 1,500 gas station/c‑store properties located in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia, as well as numerous automatic car wash properties.  Chris also specializes in the valuation of triple net leased gas station/c‑store and auto service center properties.

Assignments include the valuation of single property and medium and large sized portfolios for financial institutions, life insurance companies, property owners, REITS, and law firms.  Chris has also testified as an expert witness in judicial proceedings in Florida relating to the valuation of gas station/c‑store properties.
